You can find your skill tree under the ‘My Company’ menu, and the ‘Operations Management’ sub section. Clicking in it will summon the above view. Any skill points you have to distribute will be displayed at the top center. The coloured lines indicate the 4 branches you can expand down, each sub skill requires at least 1 tier of its prede‐cessor to be unlocked. Blue plus buttons can be used to purchase a skill. The number above the plus buttons indicate how many skill points are required to purchase the next level of that skill.

Once you have chosen the skill(s) you wish to purchase, you can push the ‘Save’ button in the bottom right to confirm. If you make a mistake, the nearby ‘Undo’ button can be used to revert any changes since you last chose to ‘Save’ your skill tree.

Summary of skills:

Bank Loan Agreement – Unlocking this skill enables you to get loans from the bank to help you purchase or rent larger aircraft sooner.

Better Interest Rates – Unlocking this will reduce the interest rates charged on loans. Depending on Tier the decrease will be 1, 2 or 3% lower interest rate

.Negotiate Aircraft Ownership – Reduces the costs associated with owning an aircraft, depending on tier the reduction is 3, 5 or 10%

Negotiate Parking Fees – Reduces the charge you incur when parking your aircraft at an airport. Depending on tier this reduces by 5% or 10%.

Negotiate Landing Fees – Reduces the charge incurred when landing at an airport. Depending on tier the reduction is 5% or 10%

FBOs Agreement – Unlocking this skill enables you to construct FBOs (See “Expanding with FBOs” section for more details on these). The additional tiers unlock additional slots for generating custom jobs at your FBOs.

Workshops Agreement – Allows you to construct workshop facilities at your FBOs. These can be Level 1 or Level 2 depending on your tier of skill.

Mechanics Training – Increases the speed at which your mechanics perform maintenance on aircraft. Depending on Tier the speed bonus is 5%, 10% or 20%

Fuel Seller Agreement – Unlocking this skill enables you to sell fuel stored at your FBOs to other players.

Workshop Service Selling – Unlocking this skill enables other players to hire your workshop to complete maintenance on their aircraft

Enhanced Queries – Multiplies the number of jobs each slot of your FBOs generate. Depending on tier this is double, triple or quadruple the number of jobs generated.

Passengers Licence – Unlocking this allows you to take jobs carrying passengers rather than just cargo.

Boarding Training – Increases the speed at which passengers are loaded onto aircraft. Depending on tier the boost is 5%, 10% or 20%.

Fuel Loading Speed – Improves the speed at which fuel is loaded into aircraft, depending on tier this can be 5%, 10% or 20% faster.

Cargo Loading Speed – Improves the speed at which cargo is loaded into an aircraft, depending on tier this can be 5%, 10% or 20% faster.

Last Minute Jobs – Unlocking this will enable jobs which have less than 24 hours remaining deadline to be taken.

Dangerous Jobs – Unlocking this enables the dangerous cargo job type.

Medical Jobs – Unlocking this will allow you to take Medical transport jobs.

Hiring Agreement – Unlocking this enables the hiring of AI crew members.

Better Instructors – The time needed for your AI employees to complete training or certification for a new aircraft type is decreased. Depending on tier this can be 5%, 10% or 20% less time needed overall.

Training Facilities – This improves the amount by which training increases an AI employee’s skills. Depending on Tier the improvement can be 5%, 10% or 20%.

Aircraft Use – Reduces the wear and tear rate of your aircraft when being flown by an AI pilot. Depending on tier, the rate of wear and tear is 1%, 2% or 3% slower.

Fuel Use – Improves how economical your AI pilots are when flying, reducing their overall fuel burn. Dependant on tier this confers 1%, 2% or 3% reduction in fuel burn.

Better Processes – The rate at which your company gains XP is boosted. Depending on tier, the boost is 1%, 2% or 3%.

Better Transportations – When using the ‘Transport’ option for an Employee, the total time needed for them to reach their destination is decreased. Depending on tier of the skill the reduction is 5%, 10% or 20%.

Choosing your path through the skill tree is entirely up to you, however some recommendations can be made:

Hiring Agreement is essential if you intend to manage AI pilots or fly aircraft that require a copilot and cabin attendants. It should definitely be considered as one of your first skill picks.

Following the chain Passengers Licence → Fuel Loading Speed (Tier 1 only) → Last Minute Jobs will allow you to unlock some of the highest paying jobs quickly. You can continue and take Medical Jobs afterwards. You can also take Cargo Loading Speed (Tier 1 only) and then Dangerous Jobs, giving you access to all job types available in OnAir currently.

FBOs Agreements and Enhanced Queries (all 3 tiers of both) should be considered a priority if you want to establish your own network of jobs rather than plying your trade in the global logistics center. It will enable you to generate significantly more jobs at your FBOs and give you more flexibility with how you create your FBO network. (See the “Expanding with FBOs” section for more details)
