OnAir currently has 3 worlds for you to select from, each one is named for weather conditions and with its’ own level of difficulty and selection of rules to choose from, but that doesn’t mean you are stuck with just the one world you choose right now! All OnAir CEOs can create simultaneous companies on each of the worlds if they so wish.

Cumulus is the recommended world for first time CEOs as it features the most forgiving rule set,
providing for a relaxed and casual play style should you have only a few hours to invest in your company and wish to have access to additional helper features. (e.g. instant teleportation of your employees around the world)

Stratus is the next step in difficulty, where you can still utilise AI employees to fly planes even when you are away from the computer but otherwise, all the aids are disabled.

Thunder is the final level, no aids, no payout multiplier and AI pilots may not fly without you at the controls. In this world every flight your company performs must be completed by you in a connected simulator. As no AI only flights are available in Thunder, there are no rental daily minimum flight hours.

To facilitate new players onboarding, we now propose 3 starting modes:

Route company: Start your career by doing freelance regular route jobs before creating your own company routes.

It’s a great way to start without making any loans to buy your first aircraft.

Charter company: Start your career with charter jobs: goods transport, rescue missions, sightseeing, medical transport, executives, etc.

There is an option to start with a 1 million credit starting Loan. It will grant you enough capital to rent or lease a basic airliner and place you in a separate leaderboard.

Industrial company: Start your career by creating a simple factory and trading goods via delivery contracts.

Your company begins with a basecamp construction kit, an ore detector, and enough lumbers and steel bars to construct the first production zones.

Choosing any mode will still allow to use all the features of OnAir and only affects the starting resources of your company.
