Starting today, Monday May 18, the Companion Open Beta is officially open to everyone.
No password, no invitation, no waiting list.
Simply open the Companion, click Continue, and you can start using it immediately.
What is available in this Open Beta?
For this first public phase, the Open Beta focuses on Freelance mode.
This is the part of the Companion we have tested the most internally and the one that is currently the most ready for everyday use.
Other features are still being worked on and validated in parallel through the Closed Beta.
Career mode, advanced management pages, and additional systems will progressively become available in the Open Beta over time as they reach the level of stability we expect for public release.
Rather than waiting for every feature to be finished, we preferred opening access earlier so everyone can already start using the Companion while development continues in the background.
Will this affect my company?
No. Using the Open Beta has no impact on your company. You can keep playing as you always did, open the Companion alongside the existing client, and use both at the same time without any problem.
Your company, your fleet, your finances — nothing changes.
What about the Closed Beta?
The Closed Beta will continue running in parallel.
It allows us to keep testing upcoming systems and larger features before they are released publicly into the Open Beta.
There is no fixed end date for the Closed Beta. Features will move into the Open Beta progressively once they are stable and ready for wider use.
Support & feedback
The Open Beta is fully supported and intended to be safe for real operations and everyday gameplay.
If you encounter an issue or need assistance, you can contact us through our Zendesk support platform as usual.
For this first phase, we would mainly like feedback focused on major or blocking issues, such as:
- missions that cannot be completed
- company operations affected
- broken or unusable features
- major gameplay problems
For now, our priority is stability and reliability.
Suggestions and improvement ideas will become very important later on, but at this stage, helping us identify serious issues is the most valuable feedback you can provide.

Do I need a password or an invitation?
No. The Open Beta is open to everyone. Just click Continue on the login screen.
Will my company be affected if I use the Companion?
No. Both the Companion and the existing client connect to the same servers. Your company, fleet, and finances stay exactly as they are.
Can I use the Companion and the existing client at the same time?
Yes. You can switch between them freely — there is no migration and no second account.
Why are only Freelance features available?
Because Freelance mode is currently the most tested and stable part of the Companion.
Career mode and additional systems are still being validated and will progressively join the Open Beta as they become ready.
When will more features arrive?
Progressively, over the coming weeks and months. We will announce new releases as they become available.
What kind of feedback should I send right now?
Please focus on important issues affecting gameplay, missions, company operations, or feature stability during this first phase.
How do I report a problem?
