🔧 Hotfix deployed

A new update has just been deployed as a hotfix. Please restart the Companion to get the latest version.

This release primarily focuses on improving airport database reliability and diagnostics, following reports from a small number of users who were experiencing airport loading issues.

The airport database is now fully downloaded and initialized before you enter the lobby, preventing incomplete data from causing issues later during dispatch and flight operations. We’ve also added a proper download progress bar so you can clearly see what’s happening while the database is being downloaded.

To help track down the remaining edge cases, we’ve significantly expanded diagnostic logging.If an airport database download still fails, the Companion can now provide much more detailed information about where the process is being blocked, whether that’s a firewall, antivirus, proxy, network issue, or service communication problem.

If you’re still seeing “Airport data not available” after updating, please send us your diagnostic log via:

Settings → About → Reveal Diagnostic Log

The additional diagnostics included in this release should help us identify and resolve the issue much faster.
