New economic rules are Online
First of all, we want to thank all the users who were part of the Beta World testing, and spent countless hours testing, submitting feedback and bug reports. Your feedback was crucial, helping our development team create a better game experience for all OA Airline Manager users around the world.
After gathering all feedback, here are the final settings we have selected for each world.
In each world, the logistic center generates now 4x more jobs.
Cumulus and Clear Sky keep both the same difficulty level and the ability to set bonuses on prices (up to 90%). Only the new long-awaited gameplay items will be added (leasing, reworked workshop mechanics, etc.)
Stratus and Thunder offer the option of 2 different playstyles for existing companies (classic or challenging), the first one keeps the same difficulty level as before, the second will be a very challenging experience.
There will be no economic exchanges between companies in the 2 different modes.
Each company will be allowed, if not satisfied with the challenging playstyle, to revert to the classic ruleset within 30 days of starting with the challenging ruleset.
Newly created companies in these worlds will automatically join the challenging mode.
We are striving to make most of the players happy most of the time. As such we have opened up options as much as we can to adapt to each playstyle. We had to make a trade-off between realism and the gameplay.
In Stratus and Thunder, to switch to the challenging mode, go to the ‘Options > Global Settings’ menu and click the ‘Switch to Challenging Mode’ button:

You can switch back to the Classic mode if you wish within 30 days:

Concerning Virtual Airlines, the switch is allowed if all members agree to the switch.
All members must agree to switch to the challenging mode from their ‘My Virtual Airline’ page (‘VA Operation > My Virtual Airline’ menu)

The current members list displays who has already accepted the switch:

When all members have agreed, the VA Founder can go the VA management mode in the ‘Option > Global Settings’ menu and proceed with the switch:

What’s next
In order to meet your expectations, we will continue to make a wide array of improvements in addition
to those reported here. We will continue to update game features and add content in the hope to provide everyone with a long-lasting OnAir experience.
Thank you very much for your ongoing support!
